Lumen Christi Legacy Society

Lumen Christi means the "Light of Christ," which is the light in all things, which gives life to all things. In Matthew?s Gospel, Jesus tells us:
You are the light of the world. A city built upon a mountain cannot be hidden. Nor would someone light a lamp and then put it under a basket; rather, it is placed upon a lampstand so that it may afford light to all in the house. In the same way, your light must shine so that it can be seen by others; this will enable them to observe your good works and give praise to your Father in heaven. (Mt 5:14-16)
Through their gifts, members of the Lumen Christi Legacy Society share in this light, helping others encounter Christ and bearing witness to the Gospel throughout Northwest Florida.
When you make a gift in your will or trust to benefit your parish or The Catholic Foundation of Northwest Florida, you are honored with membership and are united to other faithful in this giving circle.
Options for legacy gifts include:
- A bequest in your will naming your parish or The Catholic Foundation of Northwest Florida
- Naming your parish or The Catholic Foundation of Northwest Florida as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy, IRA or other investment
- A Charitable Gift Annuity, Charitable Remainder Trust, Unitrust, Annuity Trust or a Living Trust
Members of the Lumen Christi Legacy Society are recognized in their parishes and through Diocesan communication channels (unless anonymity is requested). Members are also invited to an annual Diocesan Mass celebrated by the Bishop and reception enjoyed with fellow members.
